What is a supported platform for a Server?

'Supported platform' means that we have successfully installed and tested both the Campus Grid Toolkit and Development Kit on the platform (running one of the supported Java versions listed below).

Server side

Red Hat family:

• Red Hat RAS versions 4 to 5.3
• Scientific Linux 4 to 5.3
• CentOS 4 to 5.3
• Fedora 7 to 11

SUSE family

• SUSE 11.x
• Open SUSE 11.x

Debian family

• Debian 5.0x
• Ubuntu 8 (LTS)

Client side

All Linux distributions listed above and

• Windows XP sp3
• Windows Vista
• Windows 7
• OS X 10.5 and 10.6

Supported Java

We support the latest version of Java 6.
