Prepare a slide for CPOSS to use in presentations

Overview

In an earlier communications session, it had been suggested that a good way to communicate with scientists would be to prepare an overview slide for each of OMII-UK's user groups. These slides would explain what OMII-UK had done for the user group, and could be added to any presentation give by the user group. This would mean that OMII-UK would be publicised to many new groups of scientists who may be intersted in getting in contact with OMII-UK.

To start off the process, an OMII-UK representative (Simon Hettrick) prepared a slide for the CPOSS group, under the guidance of a representative from CPOSS (Louise Price).

Conclusions

A slide for the use of the CPOSS group was designed.

• The slide states the main benefits that CPOSS gained from working with OMII-UK at a level of detail that is easy to understand
• No slide master is used so that the slide is easy to add to pre-existing slide templates used by CPOSS
• The slide uses the same title as used by the CPOSS group in their acknowledgement slides
• An image may be added to the slide
