It might sound too good to be true, but you can get fit, learn about cutting-edge e-Research software and win an iPod nano all at the same time.

Come to the OMII-UK stand at the All Hands Meeting this September, collect one of our free pedometers and get walking. The person who does the most steps over the three days of the conference wins the iPod.

See below for the rules of entry. In the meantime, happy stepping!

Rules

Come to the OMII-UK stand during the 10.30-11.30 coffee break on Thursday 11 September and show your total steps to an OMII-UK member of staff. The winner will be the person who has recorded the most steps. The iPod will be presented to the lucky winner on the day, or posted out if we can’t find you! The Editor’s word is final. OMII-UK cannot be held liable for broken or lost pedometers, or the accidental pressing of the reset button!

If you approach the limit of the steps on your pedometer (99,999) then simply come to the stand, we’ll record your current steps and reset your pedometer. In the unlikely event of a tie, we’ll dream up a tie-breaker question and the first to answer it correctly wins the iPod.
